  • Ingredients for 5-6 skewers.

Directions

  1. Mix (A) in a small pot and heat on low until the mixture thickens.
  2. Cut the chicken into 1 cm (0.4 in.) thick, 2 to 3 cm (1 in.) cubes. Season with the salt.
  3. Cut the Japanese long onion into 2 cm (0.8 in.) lengths. Lightly cover with vegetable oil.
  4. Place (2) and (3) alternatively on a skewer and grill over medium heat. Once one side has browned, turn over and grill until cooked through to the center over low heat.
  5. Baste with the sauce repeatedly and lightly grill once more before enjoying.
