- Ingredients for 5-6 skewers.
Directions
- Mix (A) in a small pot and heat on low until the mixture thickens.
- Cut the chicken into 1 cm (0.4 in.) thick, 2 to 3 cm (1 in.) cubes. Season with the salt.
- Cut the Japanese long onion into 2 cm (0.8 in.) lengths. Lightly cover with vegetable oil.
- Place (2) and (3) alternatively on a skewer and grill over medium heat. Once one side has browned, turn over and grill until cooked through to the center over low heat.
- Baste with the sauce repeatedly and lightly grill once more before enjoying.
