Oriental Food Wholesale Business
To leverage the synergies between promoting both the merits of soy sauce and the allure of Japanese food culture, Kikkoman began operating the American-based Japan Food Corporation in 1969, which would become the present-day JFC International. The focus of this business continues to be the wholesale of Oriental food products, with a particular emphasis on Japanese ingredients.
JFC International started out with the wholesale of soy sauce and soon after diversified into other staples of Japanese cuisine including rice, miso, seaweed, and vinegar. JFC now deals in a range of other foods and has 44 offices around the world, from Europe all the way to locations throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
