The marinade is straightforward, too, combining Kikkoman Soy Sauce, mirin, ginger, and garlic. Marinating ensures the chicken is well-flavored, so there's no need for a complicated batter!

Method ② Sauteing: Mushroom and Chicken Saute with Butter Soy Sauce

The secret to simplicity lies in how you cut the chicken. Start by halving the chicken breasts lengthwise, then slice them diagonally (this method is called “sogigiri” in Japanese). This technique ensures even cooking and eliminates any risk of undercooked spots. You create a simple and satisfying dish by adding butter to the savory umami of mushrooms and Kikkoman Soy Sauce.
