Gyudon (Quick Beef Bowl)

  1. Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces; slice the onion into slivers 5 mm (1/4 in.) thick.
  2. Mix (A) in a pot; once it comes to a boil, add the beef and onions, and simmer while removing any scum that floats to the surface.
  3. Place warm rice in individual bowls; spoon portions of cooked beef/onion over the rice, garnishing with radish sprouts and pickled ginger to serve.
