Kikkoman to Host “Public-Private Sector Collaboration Food Event with Top Chefs from Japan and Around the World”
~ Showcasing Sustainability-Minded New Deliciousness to the World at the Expo ~

The Kikkoman Corporation will host a Kikkoman Event proposing “Unprecedented deliciousness using ingredients from Japan and cutting-edge culinary techniques of world-class chefs from Japan and overseas”, over two days, June 15 to 16, at an Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, Exhibition Center and in Kyoto City. Under the theme “A World Connected by Deliciousness”, we will showcase a new deliciousness to the world using sustainability-focused ingredients from Japan in partnership with top world-class chefs and culinary experts supporting the future of Japanese food.
On June 15, aligning with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Theme Week at Expo Osaka, Kansai, Japan, we will present sustainable ingredients, GI foods (certified products under Japan's geographical indication (GI) protection system), together with participating chefs at Exhibition Center WASSE. The following day, June 16, a reception for representatives of expo participant countries to enjoy the resulting culinary creations will be held in Kyoto City. We look forward to hosting this event and will provide further details in late April.
This event is being held by the 'Pursuit of Food Sustainability and Exceptional Food Proposals' executive committee, which was established by the Kikkoman Corporation, the All Japan Food Studies Association, the Nippon Steel Corporation, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Kyoto Prefecture, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO ), and the Japan Food Overseas Promotion Center (JFOODO), with the aim of promoting the appeal of Japan through public-private collaboration.
