Kikkoman Holds 35th Anniversary Ceremony in Taiwan

December 1, 2025

Kikkoman Corporation celebrated the 35th anniversary of our operations in Taiwan with a grand commemorative ceremony. In 1990, Kikkoman established President Kikkoman Inc. (hereafter PKI) as a joint venture with Uni-President Enterprises Corp., Taiwan’s largest food company. Since then, by combining Uni-President’s strong distribution network in Taiwan with Kikkoman’s leading soy sauce brewing technology, PKI has steadily expanded its business in the Taiwanese market. The anniversary ceremony was held on November 10, 2025, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Tainan. Approximately 120 guests attended, including representatives from Uni-President, distribution and business partners, and Kazuyuki Katayama, Chief Representative, Taipei Office of the Japan Taiwan Exchange Association.
