Del Monte (Guangzhou) Trading Co., Ltd. Launches New Product for Home Use

In April 2026, Del Monte (Guangzhou) Trading Co., Ltd. (DMG), the Kikkoman Group's sales company for Del Monte processed food products in China, began sales of small cans of pineapple slices for home use.

This 227 g (8 oz.) can of pineapple slices is designed in a convenient, single-use size and contains no added sugar, allowing the pineapple's natural sweetness to shine.

The product is currently sold through the company's flagship stores on major e-commerce platforms. In addition to its ready-to-eat use, DMG is leveraging videos and images to propose a variety of menu ideas, including Chinese-style skewers, beverages, and hamburgers, thereby expanding usage occasions.

To date, DMG has marketed 836 g (29.5 oz) canned pineapple products for the foodservice industry, which have been widely used across a range of businesses, including bakeries as well as yakiniku, hamburger, and Chinese restaurants. Furthermore, menu offerings using pineapple are increasing, and Del Monte branded pineapple is widely used in the foodservice sector. Building on this track record, DMG has launched small cans for home use, primarily through e-commerce channels, and aims to further expand distribution in the retail market.
