JFC Mexico Exhibits at Más Japón en el Bajío 2026
July 3, 2026
JFC Mexico, the Kikkoman Group's local Asian food wholesaler, exhibited alongside eight other vendors at "Más Japón en el Bajío 2026," held in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. Organized by the Asociación México Japonesa (AMJ), the event aims to promote cultural and business exchange between Japan and Mexico and showcases Japanese culture, products, technology, tourism, food, entertainment, and more.

Over three days from May 29 to 31, JFC Mexico collaborated with local business partners to exhibit at this event held at Poliforum León in León. As the event targeted general consumers, sampling and sales were centered around products from JFC's private label, J-Basket. Many local visitors showed strong interest in Japanese food and culture, listening attentively to product explanations and actively enjoying the tastings.

Over the three-day period, the event attracted approximately 20,000 visitors and featured 72 exhibiting companies, creating a lively atmosphere throughout. Engagement with many attendees provided a valuable opportunity to enhance awareness of Japanese food and brands. The León area is also home to a large number of Japanese-affiliated companies, where there are already frequent opportunities to experience Japanese culture and cuisine. In this context, the event is considered to have further heightened interest in both.
JFC Mexico will continue to expand the distribution and awareness of Japanese and Asian foods through such initiatives, while contributing to further market growth by providing safe, high-quality products.
