Kikkoman Holds Grand Opening Ceremony for Third U.S. Plant

KIKKOMAN FOODS, INC. (KFI), Kikkoman Corporation's U.S. manufacturing subsidiary headquartered in Walworth, Wisconsin, has been constructing its third production plant in Jefferson, Wisconsin. With shipments soon to be underway, KFI will hold a Grand Opening Ceremony on September 18 (local time).

The Jefferson Plant in Wisconsin began construction in April 2024. Soy sauce brewing operations commenced in May 2026, with shipments scheduled to begin in October. It is KFI's third production plant in the United States, following its Walworth, Wisconsin headquarters plant, which began shipments in 1973, and its Folsom, California plant, which began shipments in 1998. The facility also marks the Kikkoman Group's ninth soy sauce production base outside Japan.

The North American soy sauce business has continued to grow, with shipments from KFI's headquarters plant in Walworth, Wisconsin increasing steadily. The Jefferson Plant will help meet growing demand in the North American soy sauce market while producing a diverse range of products tailored to customer needs. This new facility will further strengthen Kikkoman's stable supply framework in North America, the largest market in the Group's overseas business.
