Kikkoman Collaborates on Filming of Disney+ Documentary Series FOOD SAMOURAÏ

Kikkoman Corporation cooperated with the filming of FOOD SAMOURAÏ, a six-episode documentary series scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in France on September 30, 2026. In Episode 2, Chef Mory Sacko, chef and owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant Mosuke in Paris, visits the Kikkoman Soy Sauce Museum in Noda, Chiba Prefecture.

FOOD SAMOURAÏ is a documentary series that follows Chef Mory Sacko as he travels throughout Japan exploring the local food culture cultivated over centuries. The series was created by Éric Nebot and produced by Éric Nebot and Alice Cointe.

In Episode 2, Chef Sacko learns about the history, culture, and traditions of soy sauce through a hands-on soy sauce-making workshop and exhibits at the Kikkoman Soy Sauce Museum. He also takes part in a soy sauce-based cooking experience with Hitoshi Kakizawa, a food business consultant and expert in Japanese cuisine.

One of Kikkoman's management principles is to promote the international exchange of food culture. Through cooperation for this series, we aim to share the appeal of Japanese food culture and soy sauce with audiences around the world. Kikkoman will continue to foster international exchange through food and contribute to the development of food culture around the world.
