Kikkoman Australia Exhibits at FoodPro 2026 in Melbourne for the First Time
September 30, 2026
Kikkoman Australia Pty. Limited (KAP), the local Kikkoman Group sales and marketing company, exhibited for the first time at FoodPro 2026, a food manufacturing, machinery, packaging, and technology trade show held in Melbourne, Australia, in July 2026. FoodPro 2026 is a trade exhibition for the food and beverage industry, featuring food processing and packaging technologies, ingredients, and related products, with more than 400 exhibitors from across the food and beverage value chain.

KAP participated in the exhibition to increase awareness of its industrial and foodservice seasoning products among food manufacturers and foodservice users in Oceania, and to build relationships with potential new customers. In the Oceania market, growing health consciousness has increased demand for products that deliver great taste while reducing sodium content, as well as for more natural products made with minimal additives. In addition, the growing popularity of Asian cuisines has expanded demand for food product development that leverages umami. Against this backdrop, KAP exhibited at FoodPro 2026 as part of its efforts to expand its business in the food ingredient market for local food manufacturers.
At the KAP booth, a range of products was showcased, including industrial soy sauce products, dehydrated soy sauce, halal-certified soy sauce, and chickpea sauce. Technical information for each product was also presented. In addition, tasting demonstrations highlighted the umami-enhancing effects of soy sauce and introduced its applications and characteristics to product developers from food manufacturing companies.
During the four-day event, the booth welcomed food product developers, buyers, and other industry professionals. Visitors exchanged ideas with KAP representatives regarding KAP's products and technical proposals. In response to product inquiries received during the exhibition, KAP provided samples and technical information.

KAP will continue to drive business growth in Oceania through seasoning proposals tailored to local market needs.
