Kikkoman do Brasil Indústria e Comércio de Alimentos e Bebidas Ltda. (hereinafter Kikkoman Brasil), a Group Company of Kikkoman Corporation (hereinafter Kikkoman) will begin shipping Kikkoman Soy Sauce produced at the Brazil production site from November 2021.
Kikkoman has plants in North America (2), Europe (1) and Asia (4), and Kikkoman Brasil is the 8th production site outside of Japan.

In our “Global Vision 2030”, the long-term vision formulated in 2018, the Kikkoman Corporation included the goal of “growing business operations in South America in the 2020s” as part of our global soy sauce strategy. Taking this opportunity, the commencement of production and shipping of Kikkoman Soy Sauce within Brazil, we will continue with full swing development of our operations in South America.

Until now, Kikkoman has been importing Kikkoman Soy Sauce produced in the U.S. or Singapore to conduct sales in South American countries.
In Brazil, we began consignment production and sales of Kikkoman Brand Soy Sauce Based Products, Sauces and Condiments in 2018.
Thereafter in March 2020, we acquired all shares of Azuma Kirin Indústria de Bebidas e Alimentos Ltda. (Azuma Kirin), the former Kikkoman Brasil, from Kirin Holdings, made it a subsidiary and earnestly entered the Brazil market.
At this time, Kikkoman Brasil will begin shipping Kikkoman Soy Sauce produced mainly by utilizing the existing facility and equipment to further market penetration of the Kikkoman Brand in Brazil.
The Kikkoman Group will continue to respond fully to our customers and provide value-added products and services as well as promote the international exchange of food culture and move forward to realize “making Kikkoman Soy Sauce a truly global seasoning”, one of our long-term vision “Global Vision 2030” goals.
