300 ml (10.1 fl. oz.)

Directions

  1. Finely chop up the seven herbs.
  2. Mix (A) together in a pot, bring to a boil over medium heat, then add in the rice and allow to simmer. Once the cooking liquids are boiled down, add and quickly mix in the seven herbs and lightly boil, then turn off the heat once cooked and serve into bowls. 

    * If a seven herb (nanakusa) mixture is unavailable, prepare a 80 g (2.8 oz.) mixture of daikon radish leaves, edible chrysanthemum leaves, white turnip leaves and mitsuba/Japanese parsley, etc. as a substitute.
