Directions

  1. Cut the green and bell peppers in half, remove the seeds and roughly chop up.
  2. Place the sesame oil in a fry pan over high heat, and cook the green and bell peppers after removing any excess moisture. Once softened, add in the sugar and soy sauce and stir-fry all together. Once the cooking liquids have boiled down, use a circular motion to evenly sprinkle in the bonito powder and stir-fry further.

Cut the bell pepper in half, fold the stem and then remove the seeds with your fingers. This is an easier and less wasteful method than using a knife.
