  1. Remove the seeds and pulp from the pumpkin, then remove the peel here and there and cut into bite-size pieces.
  2. Add (1), the raisins, lemon slice and (A) to a pot, and simmer over medium heat with a drop lid* until most of the liquid has been reduced.

    • A drop lid is a lid that floats on top of the liquid in pans while simmering foods. It allows heat to be evenly distributed so ingredients cook evenly and quickly. You can purchase one, or make a substitute out of aluminum foil.
