  1. Cut the saltwort into 4 cm (1.5 in) lengths. Quickly add the saltwort to some salt added (extra) boiling water, then remove and rinse under cold water. Make sure to wring out all the excess moisture before placing into a bowl.
  2. Add the soy sauce to (1), and sprinkle on bonito flakes.
