Directions

  1. Cut the beef into large, bite-size pieces and season with (A).
  2. Cut the garlic and onion into small slices.
  3. Melt 2 Tbsp of butter in a frying pan and stir-fry the garlic and onion until tender. Add (1) and heat until cooked through, then add another 2 Tbsp of butter and melt. Mix in the flour and stir-fry further.
  4. When the flour is mixed in well, pour in the red wine, tomato paste and bouillon. Add (B) and combine.
  5. When the liquid comes to a boil, turn the heat to medium and cook at a low simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. When done, add the lemon juice. Prepare dishes with rice and mix in the remaining butter, then add the stew to the rice.
