Cut the beef into large, bite-size pieces and season with (A).

Cut the garlic and onion into small slices.

Melt 2 Tbsp of butter in a frying pan and stir-fry the garlic and onion until tender. Add (1) and heat until cooked through, then add another 2 Tbsp of butter and melt. Mix in the flour and stir-fry further.

When the flour is mixed in well, pour in the red wine, tomato paste and bouillon. Add (B) and combine.

When the liquid comes to a boil, turn the heat to medium and cook at a low simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When done, add the lemon juice. Prepare dishes with rice and mix in the remaining butter, then add the stew to the rice.
