Directions

  1. Diagonally cut the chicken into thick slices, massage in (A) and set aside for 10 minutes.

    • Feel free to leave out the paprika if not on hand.
  2. Slice the tomato into 7 mm (0.3 in.) thick rounds, then cut these into half-moons. Tear up the lettuce.
  3. Spread the olive oil in a fry pan, cook (1) until fragrant and then cut into easy-to-eat pieces.
  4. Use a microwave to lightly warm the tortillas.
  5. Wrap (2) and (3) in (4) to enjoy.

Cooking Basics

Chicken breast - slicing into thin diagonal cuts / sogi-giri

Lay the knife down almost flat to make thin slices. By doing so, larger slices will cook faster and flavors will be soaked up more easily.

Tomatoes - rounds

Use the tip of the knife to remove the tomato stem, and slice at consistent widths from end to end.
