- If desired, add sugar to (B) to taste.
Directions
- Cut the pork into 8 equal parts and add to the pot. Add a lot of water, (A), and equally cover each piece in okara. Cover, and boil for 1 hour over medium-heat. Add hot water if needed.
- Boil the eggs and remove the shells.
- Rinse the pork under cold water, then dry well.
- Add (2),(3) and B to the pot. Gradually add water, cover, and boil for 20 min. over low heat. Finish up by pouring in the mirin in a circular motion.
