Directions

  1. Cut the hijiki seaweed into 2-3 cm (1 in.) lengths. Quickly rinse, microwave for 30 seconds at 500 W. (If using dried hijiki, first soak in 6 g (0.2 oz.) of water to soften)
  2. Cut the carrot into 3 cm (1 in.) long thing strips. Massage in some salt by hand. Once soft, quickly rinse clean.
  3. Thinly slice the onion, massage in some salt by hand, rinse a few times under water and dry.
  4. Drain the oil from the tuna and mash.
  5. In a bowl mix together, (1)-(4), making sure (2) and (3) have been well dried. Dress with (A) and serve in a bowl.
    *Garnish with butterhead lettuce leaves for extra taste.
