Spicy Boiled Potatoes

100 g (3.5 oz)

50 g (1.8 oz)

(A)Beef Seasoning

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into edible size pieces.
  2. Cut the beef into 1 cm (1/2 in) wide pieces. Season with (A).
  3. Finely chop the long green onion.
  4. Fry the beef and potatoes in sesame seed oil. Pour in some water and just barely cover the ingredients. Add in the chopped onion and (B). Cover and let simmer.
  5. Remove the sinew from the peas and add in about half way through. Continue to simmer until the broth has disappeared.

Cooking Basics

Potatoes - cut into bite-size pieces

Peel, remove any eyes and cut into half. Next, cut into 3 cm (1. 2 in.) chunks. It will depend on the size, but if a potato is divided into 4 to 6 equal pieces, it usually will be bite-size.
