Stir-Fried Chicken and Cashews

200 g (7 oz.)

60 g (approx. 2 oz.)

cooking oil

1/2 Tbsp


  1. Cut the chicken into 8 mm (1/4 in.) chunks and season with 1 Tbsp of sake.
  2. Chop the long onion into 8 mm (1/4 in.) lengths.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a pan, and stir-fry (1). When the color has changed, add and stir-fry (2) and then the cashew nuts.
  4. Sprinkle (3) with 1 Tbsp of sake, then heat covered for 20 seconds over low heat to cook the chicken through. Season with soy sauce and mirin.
