Directions
- Remove any excess fat from the chicken thigh and stab into the skin with a fork in several places.
- Place the ingredients from (A) into a bowl and marinate the chicken for 15 minutes.
- Divide the broccoli into florets and boil in lightly salted water.
- Drain the chicken from step (2) of excess marinade (do not throw away the marinade) and place it onto a heat-safe dish. Microwave for 4 to 5 minutes uncovered.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a fry pan, then dry and add in the chicken from step (4) after removing excess cooking liquids. Once both sides are browned, add in the marinade and cook the chicken through while coating.
- Cut the chicken into easy-to-eat pieces and serve garnished with the broccoli from step (3).
