Directions

  1. Cut the chives into half their length, place roots first into lightly salted (extra) boiling water, quickly boil and then drain in a colander to cool.
  2. Chop (1) into 4 to 5 cm (2 in.) lengths, squeeze out excess moisture, then dress with (A).
  3. Serve (2) into dishes, top with broken apart canned mackerel and sprinkle on a dash of cayenne pepper powder.
