ground pork
150 g (5.3 oz.)
bok choy

Kikkoman Soymilk Unsweetened

300 ml (10.1 fl. oz.)

Chinese noodles

mirin

miso
1 tsp
sugar
1 tsp
grated garlic
1/2 tsp
grated ginger
1/2 tsp

(B)

mirin

2 Tbsp

miso

4 tsp

1/2 Tbsp

chicken stock granules

1/2 Tbsp

grated garlic
1 tsp
salt

a dash

pepper

Directions

  1. Place the ground meat into a heat-safe container, add in (A) and mix throughout. Lightly cover with plastic wrap, or a lid without sealing. Heat in a microwave (600W) for about 3 minutes. Once cooked through, mix gently to break apart the meat.
  2. Chop the bok choy lengthwise into four equal parts. Arrange in a separate heat-safe container. Lightly cover with plastic wrap or a lid, heat in a microwave for about 3 minutes, remove into cold water, then squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. Bring (B) and 500 ml (16.9 fl. oz.) of water to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, turn the heat to low, add in the soymilk to warm and then add in the ground sesame seeds. 
  4. In a separate pot, boil plenty of water. Add in the Chinese noodles, cook for the time indicated on the package, then drain in a colander. Pour on (3), top with (1) and (2), and sprinkle on the green onions and rayu if desired.
