Mix the chicken well in (A), then form into 6 balls.

Peel the lotus root and chop into chunks. Cut the carrot into wedges.

Boil (B) in a pot. Add in (1) and (2), cover and allow to simmer for 8-10 minutes.

Arrange all in a dish. Sprinkle on some 3 cm (1 in) long boiled string beans and serve immediately.

Peel the skin and cut in half lengthwise, or cut in quarters lengthwise if thick. From the edge, cut irregularly into bite-sized pieces.
