Ingredients(Servings: 2)
Directions
-
Marinate fillets in the teriyaki marinade ingredients listed under (A) between 10 - 15 minutes. Turn fillets over once during this time to ensure fillets are completely seasoned. If three marinade ingredients cannot be found, 3 Tbsp of Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade and Sauce can be used as a substitute but note that this will result in a slightly sweeter flavor.
-
Heat a frying pan to medium heat and then place a piece of parchment paper on the frying pan surface. Lightly brush some of the marinade onto the parchment paper before setting the fillets into the pan. Once the fillets begin to change color, turn them over. Once the fillets are evenly colored on both sides, reduce heat to low and allow fillets to continue cooking for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
-
Remove the parchment paper and fillets from the pan and pour remainder of marinade into the pan. Heat marinade over medium heat until thickened into a teriyaki sauce.
-
Return fillets to the pan and fully coat all sides with the teriyaki sauce. Once fillets are fully coated turn off heat.
