  1. Cut the garlic chives into 3 to 4 cm (1-1/4 in.) lengths.  Thinly slice the long onion diagonally.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan, and saute the garlic chives (1) and pork.
  3. When the color of the pork changes, add (A) and lightly saute further.  Once the flavor has penetrated the meat, add and saute the garlic chives over high heat until the color changes.

Japanese long onion - thinly sliced

Remove the roots of the Japanese long onion. Then thinly slice up diagonally from end to end.
