200 ml (6.8 fl. oz.)

Directions

  1. Slice the bacon into 1 cm (0.4 in.) wide thin squares, the onion and potato into 1 cm (0.4 in.) cubes and the carrot into 7 to 8 mm (0.3 in.) cubes.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pot, add in order the bacon, onion, potato and carrot, then saute well.
  3. Add 300 ml (10.1 fl. oz.) of water to (2), simmer over low heat while removing any scum that forms on the surface and then cover with a lid to simmer for 6 minutes.
  4. Add the soymilk to (3) and once heated, adjust the flavor with the soy sauce and turn off the heat.
