Directions

  1. Cut the bacon into 5 mm (0.2 in.) widths. Finely slice up the green onion.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a fry pan, quickly cook the bacon from (1), blot away the grease with a paper towel.
  3. Add (2) to the rice, sprinkle on the green onions, katsuobushi, soy sauce and mix together, then divide into two portions.
  4. Put down some wax paper and place on it 1 sheet of yakinori, put half of (3) on top and roll this up wax paper and all. Turn over from time to time to allow to cool.
  5. Repeat the same process with remaining ingredients and then cut in half to serve.
