  1. Preheat an oven to 190°C (374°F). Prepare a 20 cm X 15 cm (8 in. x 6 in.) rectangular frame out of parchment paper and place this onto an oven pan. Sift the flour.
  2. Place the egg and sugar into a bowl, whip until thick and creamy, then add and stir in the soy sauce.
  3. Add and quickly mix in the flour (1) and then pour into the mold (1) to spread out flat.
  4. Place (3) into the middle rack of the oven and bake at 190°C (374°F) for 10 minutes. Remove from the mold and cool.
  5. Whip together (A) in a bowl.
  6. Use a spatula to uniformly spread (5) onto (4), then roll up from the nearest edge and wrap in storage-use plastic wrap or parchment paper. Allow to rest as is for about 20 to 30 minutes, then slice up to serve.
