Directions

  1. Cut the bacon into 1 cm (0.4 in.) thick sticks.
  2. Thinly slice up the onion and cut the komatsuna into 3 cm (1.2 in.) lengths.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a fry pan and saute (1). Once the grease from the bacon is released, add in (2) and continue to saute. Sprinkle on salt and black pepper.
  4. Mix together (A) together, add in (3).
  5. Lightly butter (extra) a small oven-safe dish and pour in (4). Drain the corn and place it on top of the casserole. Lastly, drizzle on the soy sauce and bake in a toaster oven for 15 minutes.
