Pork Teriyaki Don

200 g (7 oz.)

(A)Teriyaki sauce


  1. Cut the pork into bite-size pieces and coat with potato starch.  Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and cook the pork until golden brown.
    Remove the pork and remove any excess oil.
  2. Wiping up the remaining oil, simmer (A) in the same pan over low heat until thickened.  Then, return the pork and coat well with the sauce.
  3. Place hot, rice into separate bowls and pile on the pork (2) on top of each.  Pour the remaining sauce over the meat, and garnish with grilled sweet peppers and sesame seeds.
