Cut each asparagus stick into 3 equal parts. Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Quickly boil the asparagus.

Spread out each slice of beef and sprinkle with salt, pepper. Wrap one piece each around three asparagus parts. Repeat the process with each asparagus stick to form 12 rolls in total. Cover all sides lightly with flour.

Heat 3 Tbsp of cooking oil, brown both sides of the beef rolls.

Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a separate pot. Fry the garlic and then the onion. Add in (A) and the beef rolls, simmer for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Serve on a plate garnished with chervil.
