butterhead lettuce

a few leaves

Directions

  1. Remove the large pit from the umeboshi and mash well.
  2. Slice the green onion into small, bite-size pieces.
  3. Spread out each piece of pork on a cutting board. Smear a little bit of umeboshi on each and place a few pieces of green onion on top. Firmly roll closed.
  4. Spread and heat the sesame oil in a pan, line up the pork rolls and fry until cooked through to the center. Season with soy sauce and remove.
  5. Garnish with salad leaves. Wrap each roll in a single leaf when eating and enjoy.
