Boil the fava beans in salted water, and peel off the outer tender skin. Cut the chicken into easy-to-eat pieces. Finely chop the onion and bacon.

Heat the salad oil in a pot, and saute (2) well. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Add butter, and once it melts, sprinkle in the flour and cook over low heat until no longer a powder.

Over high heat, add the white wine and bay leaf to (3). Then, after adding 1/2 cup of water, stir while bringing to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, add milk and continue cooking.
Midway, add the fava beans (1) to the pot, and cook until thickened. Adjust the flavor with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Remove the bay leave, and ladle into individual bowls.
