Directions

  1. Cut the baguette into 1 cm (1/2 in.) thick slices and lightly toast.  Rub the cut part of the garlic clove against the slices to give them the fragrance.
  2. Divide the cheese into 4 pieces.
  3. Place (2) and the cut tomatoes on (1), and serve garnished with basil.

Tomatoes - roughly chopped

Use the tip of a knife to carve out the stem, then cut into half horizontally. Cut the tomato vertically and horizontally into 1 to 1.5 cm. (0.5 in.) width pieces. If you want to remove the seeds, use your fingers to scoop these out after cutting in half horizontally.
