Teriyaki Ham Roll-up Bento Lunch Box

  1. Remove the bases from the asparagus and parboil the stalks.
  2. Line up 3 slices of ham so they overlap slightly, then lightly salt and pepper.  Put an asparagus stalk on top near an edge and firmly wrap it with the ham.  Repeat with the remaining ham and asparagus stalk.
  3. Heat up the cooking oil in a frying pan, then place the wrapped asparagus in the pan with the end of the ham faced down and saute them while gently rolling them.  When cooked through, drizzle the Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade and Sauce and fully coat the rolls over medium heat, making sure they do not burn.
  4. Cut the rolls into easy-to-eat pieces, and serve together with other side dishes.
