  1. Remove the woody part of the asparagus stalk then remove the lower skin with a peeler. Cut diagonally into 5 mm (1/4 in.) thick pieces.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan, then add (1). When the color of the asparagus becomes vibrant, add the red chili peppers and (A), then quickly stir-fry.
