-
Recommendation of soy sauce : mayonnaise at 1 : 6 parts
Directions
-
Place 1 liter (33.8 fl. oz.) of water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add in the vinegar and salt, mix well and turn the heat to low to maintain a slow simmer. Into separate small cups break open each egg, and then gently add one egg to the simmering water.
-
Use a fork to keep the egg white from spreading or becoming wispy and boil over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes to the desired hardness. If the egg sticks to the bottom of the pot during boiling gently peel it off.
-
Use a skimmer or slotted spoon to scoop out the egg and place it onto a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Repeat this process for the remaining egg as well.
-
If on hand, place julienne sliced lettuce down on a plate and place the poached egg on top. Dress with well-mixed (A) and sprinkle on a dash of the coarse ground black pepper.
