Remove the sinew from the chicken tenders, cut into large, bite-size pieces and soak in (A).

Slice a thin opening in the shishito peppers. Divide the scallion into 3 cm (1 in.) lengths. Thinly slice up the garlic.

In a bowl, mix (B), 100 ml (3.4 fl. oz.) of hot water, and the garlic to prepare the marinade.

Fry the vegetables from (2) in the cooking oil. Lightly cover the chicken in starch and fry as well.

Place (3) in (4) and cover with a lid. Once well marinated, serve on a plate.
