1/2 Tbsp

1 tsp

1 clove

1 & 1/2 Tbsp

  1. Wrap the tofu in a paper towel. Place a small plate on top and set aside for 5 minutes, allowing the tofu to drain. Once excess moisture has been removed, cut into 3 to 4 cm (1.5 in.) cubes. Mix together ingredients from (A) and set aside.
  2. Warm the vegetable and sesame oils over medium heat and pan fry the tofu cubes. Once both sides have begun to brown, add in the garlic and mix together well. Pour in (A) and simmer until cooking juices have evaporated. Turn off the heat, tear apart the leaves of the daikon radish sprouts and sprinkle on top. Serve on a plate.

Cooking Basics

Tofu - draining

Wrap tofu in paper towel and set aside for 15 to 20 minutes. This method works best if the tofu is cut into the desired sized pieces beforehand to remove excess moisture.
Or wrap tofu in paper towel, place on a tray or other suitable surface and place a weight of 500~1000 g (17.7~35.3 oz.) on top and set aside for about appropriate minutes to release as much moisture as possible.
