Shrimp and Satoimo Oyaki Dumplings

Delicious sakura shrimp with smoking hot satoimo.

  1. Place the satoimo into a lidded heat-safe container and microwave until it becomes soft. Peel the skin and mash.
  2. Pour in and mix (A) with (1), add in the shrimp and mold into 4 equal sized ovals.
  3. Spread and heat some vegetable oil in a fry pan. Fry both sides of the patties from (2).
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and mirin. Spread throughout and then serve.
