100 g (3.5 oz)



  1. Remove the hard bottom connecting the stems of the enoki mushrooms. Cut in half and break apart.

    • Cut while still in the packaging for neatness.
  2. Boil in lightly salted water. Next add in and boil the spinach. Remove, place in cold water, wring dry and cut into 3-4 cm (1.5) lengths.
  3. Dress (2) with (A) and serve.

Enoki mushrooms - removing the hard base

Taking out from the package before removing the hard base will result in the hard base falling apart all over the place. Cutting off the hard base while its still in the package is less messy and recommended. After doing so, take the part for use out of the remaining package. Some packages available on the market have a cutting line conveniently indicated on the package.

Greens - boiling in salt

Add salt to plenty of boiling water to achieve salt concentration of about 1 - 2%, then add in the greens from the roots. After boiling for about 20 seconds, remove into cold water.
