Directions

  1. Divide the Spanish mackerel into 3-4 equal size pieces and season in (A).
  2. Cut the daikon radish into small little pieces and boil. Cut the mizuna into 5 cm (2 in) lengths.
  3. Heat both (B) and the daikon radish in a pot. Once it begins to boil, lower to medium heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour in (C). Lightly cover (1) in starch and once the sauce begins to boil again add it in, cover and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Add the mizuna to the corner of the pot and turn off the heat.
