100 ml (3.4 fl. oz.)

Directions

  1. Roughly chop the cabbage into large chunks, season with salt and lightly combine throughout.
  2. Place the cabbage in a strainer and douse with hot water, then immediately with cold water. Set aside to cool.
  3. Prepare the spicy sweet and sour sauce by combining (A) in a bowl large enough to add in the cabbage, add in the moisture-removed cabbage and mix. Place all ingredients into a sealable container making sure the sauce and cabbage are combined together well.
  4. Refrigerate to chill and soak up flavor for 2 to 3 hours before serving.

Cabbage - bite-size pieces

Separate the leaves, remove the core, cut the leaves in half lengthwise, and then stack. Cut into 3 cm (1.2 in.) wide strips, then cut into 3 cm (1.2 in.) wide squares.
