80 g (2.8 oz.)

30 g (1.1 oz.)


20 g (0.7 oz.)

150 g (5.3 oz.)


50 g (1.8 oz.)


  1. Place the room temperature butter into a bowl, add in the sugar and mix blend well.
  2. Add in the egg white and blend together further, then mix in the honey, soy sauce and ginger juice.
  3. Sift in the ground ginger and flour, form into a large ball and allow to rest in a refrigerator for a while.
  4. Place (3) onto a lightly floured (not included in ingredients) surface, and roll the dough out to a thickness of 3-4 mm (0.1-0.2 in.), then use cookies cutters to cut out your desired shapes.
  5. Place the cookies onto a baking pan and bake in a 180℃ (356F) oven for about 13 minutes.
  6. Mix together (A).
  7. While (5) is still hot, decorate with (6), and set aside until the icing hardens.
