Tomato and Soy Sauce Soup

200 g (7.1 oz.)

1/6 tsp

1 to 1 & 1/2 Tbsp

2 julienned leaves


  1. Remove stems from the cherry tomatoes and cut each in half horizontally.
  2. Spread out the cherry tomatoes in a pot, sprinkle on the salt, cover with a lid and then turn the heat to medium.
  3. Once the mixture starts to bubble give it a light stir and then cook for a further 4 to 5 minutes while stirring well.
  4. Pour in 450 ml (15.6 fl oz.) of water and once boiling turn the heat to low and allow to simmer for 1 to 2 minutes. Add and mix in the soy sauce. Serve into bowls garnished with the perilla.
