Directions

  1. Place a knife into the joint cartilage of each chicken wing to remove wing tips (kitchen scissors may also be used). Use a knife to slice an opening along each bone. Mince the onion.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pot, saute the chicken wings and remove from the pot once browned. Into the same pot place the butter and onion, then saute until soft and golden.
  3. Add in the soybeans, whole tomatoes with juice and the chicken wings, then cook while mashing the tomatoes. Next add the white wine, bouillon and enough water to cover all ingredients.
  4. Adjust the flavor with (A) and sprinkle on minced Italian parsley if on hand.

Cooking Basics

Chicken wings - separating the middle wing / wingette

Use kitchen scissors to easily cut through the joint cartilage and separate the middle wing (wingette) from the tip.

Onions - finely chopped

Cut the onion with its outer skin removed vertically in half, and thinly slice cut-side down without cutting as far as the base. Then lay the knife flat and insert horizontal cuts, finely chopping from end to end.
