  1. Boil the peas in salted water until softened.  Allow to cool while still in the water.
  2. Mince the long onion and shiitake mushroom.  
  3. Heat the sesame oil and stir-fry the ground beef and ginger. Once cooked, add the long onion and shiitake mushroom and cook all together. Add (A) and spread throughout.
  4. Add (1) to (3) and bring to a quick boil. Serve over rice and sprinkle on the scrambled egg to complete.

Cooking Basics

Japanese long onion - finely chopped

Remove the roots of the Japanese long onion, and insert vertical cuts. Then chop up finely at right angles from end to end.

Ginger - mincing

Remove the skin of the ginger and thinly slice, gradually sliding and stacking the slices. Then mince the ginger into fine pieces, and slice again finely at right angles.
